The
company RASI has been producing tube bending
machines for craftsmen and industry since Wilhelm
Rapp founded it in 1960.
The history of the RASI company has always been
shaped by the constant drive for quality and
innovation. In 1964
the company received the „Bavarian state
prize for the manual hydraulic tube bending
machine UN12“.

Tube bending
experienced rapid development when the sons of the
founder, Eberhard and Heinrich Rapp joined the company
in 1983.
The company manufactured its first CNC controlled
fully automatic mandril bending machine with a display
screen control in 1984.
The following years were characterised by constant
development work. Today the range of production includes
nearly 30 different tube bending machines.
The federal prize for „outstanding innovative
achievement“ was awarded to RASI twice by the
Federal Ministry for Industry in the years 1990 and
1999.
A spirit of innovation along with the necessary know-how
is the recipe for success, but also the company philosophy
of the two brothers in management. They are unanimous
in that the close connection between our own production,
research and development in cooperation with the technical
colleges and universities in the region can be regarded
as an important prerequisite for the rapid implementation
of innovations. This success is proven by countless
national and international patents and utility patents.
Last but not least, a well trained and motivated workforce
as well as good cooperation with the suppliers forms
the basis for the positive development of the company.
Their dedication is the guarantee for the decade long
and consistently high quality and readiness for delivery
of the RASI tube bending machines. The customers thank
RASI with their decade long loyalty and the further
recommending of our machines.
The machines produced in Illingen are sold throughout
the world. RASI machines are used on every continent.
The aim of this company is to assert itself on the
global market even more strongly and to considerably
raise our export turnover in the coming years.
